Commitment

We require commitment from August to May each year, and encourage summer attendance (though it is not required).

At Lighthouse Montessori, we have both lovely and ambitious goals for your child. We are not simply providing care for the hours your child is with us—we are thoughtfully building a Montessori environment where children can grow in independence, confidence, language, curiosity, and a genuine love of learning.

Just as importantly, we are building meaningful relationships and a close-knit community where each child is known, loved, and belongs.

For these reasons, consistency matters. Children thrive when they attend regularly, become deeply connected to their teachers and classmates, and have the time to settle into the rhythms and expectations of the Montessori environment. We want your child here.

When a family applies or re-enrolls, they are committing to their child's place at Lighthouse for the remainder of that school year. We reserve that child's schedule and classroom space specifically for them and plan our staffing and enrollment accordingly.

While enrollment is renewed one school year at a time, the fullest Montessori experience is a three-year journey through ages two, three, and four (for Spanish it is actually best if they start at age 1). These years build naturally upon one another, allowing children to progress from being the youngest members of their community to becoming capable, confident leaders within it.

Tuition is base on age on September 1 and stays consistent to the end of the year.

Lighthouse Montessori is a licensed childcare program, and qualifying families may be eligible for significant childcare assistance through the Utah Department of Workforce Services (DWS).
