The child is both a hope and a promise for mankind.”  — Maria Montessori, Education and Peace

Montessori ACTION program

Ages 7-11

Our Montessori hybrid program combines the freedom, wonder, and individualized learning of Montessori education with the richness of collaborative projects, meaningful mentorship, and real-world experiences.

Designed for children ages 6–12, this environment nurtures curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Students work at their own pace through carefully prepared Montessori materials while also participating in group seminars, hands-on workshops, field experiences, service projects, and discussions that connect learning to the larger world.

A personalized plan is made for each child, still capitalizing in the key Montessori areas of practical life skill development, sensorial activities, math, language, geography, science, culture and peace education.

Rather than separating subjects into isolated boxes, children explore big ideas that weave together history, science, literature, mathematics, art, nature, and practical life. They learn not only academic skills, but also how to think critically, communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

A hybrid model allows families to enjoy the best of both worlds: the structure and expertise of a prepared learning environment alongside the flexibility and family-centered opportunities that support each child's unique interests and development.  Children read a lot, learn cursive, and learn to become eloquent storytellers.

In this atmosphere of freedom within responsibility, children are trusted as capable learners. They are invited to ask questions, pursue meaningful work, develop mastery, and discover their place in a world filled with beauty, purpose, and possibility.

At its heart, an ideal Montessori elementary environment is not simply preparing children for the next grade—it is helping them become thoughtful, capable, joyful human beings who are eager to learn and ready to contribute.
